San Francisco Photographer : Tara and Felix | Married!
They’re musicians. And you know, musician’s weddings are extremely entertaining. Tara and Felix met through music and wanted their day to not only reflect their love but their love of music as well. And boy did they pull out all the stops! They took advantage of the church’s incredible organ, had a very special husband (organ, piano) and wife (flute)team perform, a vocalist, a pianist, a bagpiper and then Felix performed as well. Whew! Seriously, bagpipes just send a tremendous chill up my spine. About halfway through the ceremony, the pastor announced there was something special planned that wasn’t in the program. Tara looked shocked! She had the day planned down to every last detail (my kind of bride!) and this was a shock to her. But Felix whispered in her ear then went to the piano, playing her a rendition of their song, which he had written himself. I’ll be honest, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house… including me!
Then it was off to the boat, riding a refurbished San Francisco trolley. How fun for all of the guests, to experience that very SF touch. The whole day was just full of happiness Tara was just the happiest bride I have ever seen. She couldn’t wait to be married to Felix and couldn’t stop smiling! The toasts were so heartfelt and reflected the love Tara and Felix have brought to their friends and family.
The day after the wedding, Tara and Felix donned their wedding finery and we set out to capture their love with San Francisco being our incredible backdrop. They were great sports, running around, having their picture taken by tourists, tromping through the woods. Thank you both so much for including me and Lysander in your beautiful day!
