Lauren and Travis: Married and Eloped

Oh 2020! What curveballs you’ve thrown us. Lauren and Travis were scheduled to be married this summer in Washington with so many of their friends and family.  In the end, they decided to take some portraits down here in Southern California and elopement with only their closest family members in Washington.  Lucky me, I got to take their pictures here in Redlands! They actually did a real first look, as Travis hadn’t seen Lauren in her dress yet.  They decorated their backyard with beautiful parasols and toasted each other in the back of their VW van. Then we hit the road up to Thurman Flats where they bravely scrambled up rocks and crossed the creek to get the best shots. Then it was back down to Redlands for portraits where they met, Don’s Bicycles! I can say with certainty, this was the first time I’ve photographed a bride and groom in a bike shop. With all of the twists and turns of this year,  COVID doesn’t have anything on these two. They’ve shown that they had a great lesson in marriage already: flexibility is key!  Congrats Lauren and Travis!
