Lake Elsinore Photographer: Veronica’s Bridal Shower
So, I read this great blog called WeddingBee. I started reading it when I was planning my wedding and if I hadn’t had such a speedy-quick engagement, I would have started a blog and tried to become a Bee. I still read it (confession!) and I become emotionally invested in some of these girls’ weddings. I’ve also become “friends” with a couple. Mrs. Avocado a.k.a. Jenna and I converse on Twitter and through TinyChat. I’m probably making that out to be bigger than it truly is but it’s just so cool when these girls respond to readers.
So imagine how thrilled I was that I got to meet one in person! And not only meet her in person, but photograph her Bridal Shower! My friend, S, is in her wedding party and asked if I was available to photograph this past Saturday. Of course I was! Honestly, before meeting her I was a little nervous. What was she really like? Would she be cool? Of course she’d be cool, she’s friends with S! I read her posts, I know she’s fun. But when I met her, it was so much better than I had thought. She hugged me right away and thanked me profusely for coming. I was treated less like a photographer and more like a guest. She’s going to make a great bride in just a couple short months.
Thank you, Veronica and Jessie for including me in your fun and festivities. My favorite part of the day was the toilet paper wedding dresses, with the very fun twist of having the boys be our models. Who else would win but Veronica’s fiance, Jessie? The boys worked it! WeddingBee girls, recognize her shoes? They were Mrs. Dachshund’s! Bridesmaids S and SD did an amazing job of keeping a fun vintage theme with birds everywhere. I knew we would be fast friends, she loves birds too.
